Big Hoss Studios ("we") makes Kitty Café Blast. This policy explains what data the Kitty Café Blast app (com.kittycafe.blast) handles and why. We collect as little as we can. We do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos.
1. Anonymous account (Firebase Authentication)
When you open the game, it signs in to Google Firebase anonymously. This creates a random user ID that is not linked to your name, email or Google account. We use it only to save your progress and run the friend-invite feature.
2. Cloud save (Cloud Firestore)
Your game progress (scores, coins, stickers, rescued cats, settings and similar game state) is stored on your device. A copy is stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your anonymous ID, so your progress survives app updates. Only your anonymous ID can read or write your save.
3. Friend invites (referral codes)
If you tap Invite Friends, the game builds a Google Play link containing your anonymous ID as a referral code, and you choose where to share it. When a friend installs from that link, the app reads the Google Play Install Referrer. It then stores a record of {inviter ID, invitee ID, time} in Firestore so both players get their in-game rewards. No names or contact details are involved.
4. In-app purchases
The current version does not offer any real-money purchases. If in-app purchases are added later, they will be processed by Google Play Billing; we will never see your payment details, only a purchase confirmation so the item can be delivered. We will update this policy before that happens.
5. Advertising
The current version does not include any third-party advertising SDK and does not use an advertising ID. If ads are added later (for example, optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob), we will update this policy first. Those ads would be non-personalized, and AdMob may then collect device and usage data as described in Google's ad policies.
6. Data we do not collect
No precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or personal identifiers such as your name or email.
7. Service providers
Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) and Google Play. See Firebase privacy and Google Privacy Policy. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
8. Retention and deletion
Your cloud save and referral records are kept while you play. To delete them, email [email protected]. Tell us roughly when you started playing and your device model so we can find your save. We will delete your data within 30 days. Uninstalling the app removes all data stored on your device.
9. Children
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version here.
